Gerresheimer announces record sales in its core business for the financial year 2021 and raises its medium-term forecast. Gerresheimer AG, provider of Healthcare & Beauty Solutions and Drug Delivery Systems for pharma, biotech and cosmetics, is continuing to accelerate its profitable growth - according to its own statements. three years after the introduction of the strategy process formula G<\/strong>, which aligns business activities with megatrends such as health, sustainability and biotech and aims for sustainable and profitable growth. Adjusted Group earnings for the 2021 financial year totalled 133 million euros.<\/p>

\u201e2021 was a year of record growth for us. The results show that our strategy is paying off: We want to make Gerresheimer the leading provider of innovative solutions and systems for the health and beauty sector. We continue to invest in key growth areas and were able to increase sales in High Value Solutions by more than 30 percent in 2021. Biological Solutions grew by more than 40 per cent. We have made a good start to the 2022 financial year. For the current financial year, we expect constant profitable sales growth in the high single-digit percentage range and are raising our medium-term forecast: We will achieve an adjusted EBITDA margin of 23 to 25 percent for the Gerresheimer Group.\u201c<\/p>

On the basis of strong organic sales growth of 9.3 per cent, the Gerresheimer AG<\/a> reported turnover in the core business in the 4th quarter of 2021 to 438 million euros. The Plastics & Devices division achieved organic sales growth of 9.9 per cent. The division benefited in particular from strong demand for plastic solutions and medical devices.<\/strong><\/p>

In the 4th quarter of 2021, the \u201ePrimary Packaging Glass\u201c division recorded an increase in sales of strong demand for tubular and container glass<\/strong> an organic growth rate of 8.6 per cent. Growth was once again driven by High Value Solutions such as solutions for biologics customers, elite glass and RTF vials as well as the cosmetics business.<\/p>
