The Mosca Group is strengthening its management team with a sustainability expert with experience in setting up new, international corporate structures. Leo Maiello will be responsible for the Consumables division in future.<\/strong><\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/section>\n\t\t\t\t

With Leo Maiello, the company founded in 2021 Mosca Strap & Consumables<\/a> GmbH an experienced manager with a focus on the conceptualisation and development of new business areas.<\/strong> The business graduate has held leading positions within the Schwarz Group, including driving forward the introduction of a dual system. In his new position as Managing Director of the young Mosca subsidiary Strap & Consumables, he will responsible for the consumables division within the Group<\/strong>. He is particularly interested in a comprehensive view of sustainability - from a resource-conserving circular economy to the avoidance of CO2<\/sub>-emissions through to the use of alternative materials.<\/p>

During his time as Managing Director of the Schwarz Group's PreZero Dual division, he was involved in establishing a closed recycling loop within the globally active group of companies. In the process, he also learnt Mosca<\/a> as a co-operation partner.<\/p>

\u201eWhat impressed me about Mosca, then as now, was how consistently the understanding of sustainability runs through all areas of the company - from the development of energy-saving machines to our own resource-saving production and recycled consumables.\u201c<\/p>

Leo Maiello also sees this holistic approach as the basis of his new work. \u201eWe are currently putting a lot of energy into calming the tense supply chains in order to give our customers a lot of planning security,\u201c he explains. \u201eOur long-term focus is clearly on sustainability at the end of the packaging line.<\/strong> In addition to the use of recycled materials, such as Mosca's PET strapping, we also see the potential of alternative, plant-based materials<\/strong>.\u201c Leo Maiello is also looking forward to working on new products and approaches, for example with the Movietec division, whose stretch wrappers have complemented the portfolio since 2021.<\/p>
