The new Motoman GP20 robot has been equipped with the latest servo and control technology and, with its narrow wrist, is particularly suitable for handling tasks in small spaces. In 2018, when Yaskawa replaced its most successful Motoman robot, the HP20, with the GP25<\/strong> many people were delighted with the technical improvements - the New control system, higher load capacity and axle speeds as well as a hollow-arm manual axle structure<\/strong>, which enabled the protected laying of media cables in the arm. However, one or two customers in Europe still wanted a classic robot with a slim hand axis.<\/p>

A load capacity of 20 kg, a long reach of over 1.8 m and the high resistance of the wrist to dust and liquid ingress (IP67) make the Motoman GP20 a versatile industrial robot in addition to its slim design. Like all models in the GP series<\/a> (GP stands for General Purpose) also achieves the new development Very good cycle times due to modern servo technology<\/strong> with outstanding repeat accuracy.<\/p>

\u201eThe HP20 was one of the most popular Motoman robots ever. For many years, it has significantly shaped the reputation of Yaskawa robots in terms of their good quality, their performance and their optimised design with a slim wrist.
