Last summer, Druckerei Heinen GmbH was due to receive a new Lesko converting machine with the support of Grafische Systeme. But things turned out differently, as the flood waters of the River Erft entered the print shop's premises. The history of the complex converting machine that Graphic systems<\/a> has just been installed at Druckerei Heinen GmbH in Bad M\u00fcnstereifel is a little longer than usual. It all started with an enquiry about The demand for multi-layer labels that was placed with the Heinen printing company and the desire to produce them in larger quantities in-house<\/strong> to be able to.<\/p>

The decision was made to invest in a new converting machine that would have the greatest possible flexibility for the production of a wide variety of end products. The factory acceptance of the machine at Lesko took place on 13 July 2021 via video conference. 48 hours later, the situation was completely different. The catastrophic flooding of the River Erft had also reached the premises of the Heinen print shop, where there was no longer a functioning machine and the company building was also badly damaged<\/strong>. After this catastrophe, it was not possible to install the new converting machine for a long time, as an infrastructure - starting with the power supply - had to be put in place again first and a Extensive renovation<\/strong> of the rooms had to be carried out.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t

\u201eAfter the catastrophic flooding on the night of 14-15 July 2021, which threatened our existence, we decided to restart our print shop after the initial shock and had to look for reliable partners to help us rebuild it.\u201c<\/p>
