Labelexpo Europe 2022 will be postponed in light of the significant supply chain pressures currently facing the European label industry and the rapidly evolving situation in Ukraine and is now scheduled to take place from 11 to 14 September 2023.<\/strong><\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/section>\n\t\t\t\t

According to the organiser of the Labelexpo Global Series, the Tarsus Group, the decision was made in close consultation with exhibitors, associations and the industry as a whole, of which many are directly affected by the shortage of components and materials<\/strong>.<\/p>

These bottlenecks caused by the pandemic have worsened in recent months, so that the Supply chain in Europe now interrupted by long lead times<\/strong> it is said. As the event was due to take place in just under two months, the event team felt compelled to postpone the date in the interests of the labelling industry due to the lack of predictability.<\/p>

Hurdles due to material shortages and geopolitical uncertainties<\/h2>\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/section>\n\t\t\t\t

\"Given the existing shortage of chips and components, the current shortage of paper and other consumables for the production of labels and now the major geopolitical uncertainties due to the situation in Ukraine<\/strong> there are simply too many hurdles to overcome,\" comments Jules Lejeune, Managing Director of Finat.<\/p>

In view of the postponement of Labelexpo Europe, the next major global event for the packaging printing industry will be the Labelexpo Americas<\/strong> which is scheduled to take place in Chicago from 13 to 15 September 2022. Other upcoming Labelexpo events this year include Labelexpo Asia (28 June to 1 July), Labelexpo India (10 to 13 November) and Labelexpo South China (7 to 9 December).<\/p>
