For a year now, the Viennese have been able to take part in prize draws via the \"RecycleMich\" app by recycling correctly. The system seems to be working: More than 400,000 items of packaging have been recycled through the initiative over the year.<\/strong><\/p>

Digital apps and solutions are now gaining ground in almost all markets.<\/strong> The fact that these can also work in the area of recycling is demonstrated by the two apps \"RecycleMe<\/a>\" and \"Recycle Everywhere\" more than clear. Just under a year ago, these were launched by the internationally operating Reclay Group<\/a> first launched in Vienna and in the Canadian province of Manitoba.<\/p>

Both apps together have around 60,000 downloads, almost 1.6 million recycled packages, almost 8,500 and winners, 8,000 prizes played and almost 200,000 Canadian dollars in cash paid out. The \"RecycleMich\" initiative has already recycled over 400,000 items of packaging in Vienna alone.<\/strong> The system is very simple: empty the packaging, go to the recycling container, take a photo, scan the packaging and recycle it correctly. Participants can then win prizes from the incentive partners<\/strong> win.<\/p>

The project began just over a year ago with the aim of significantly improving the recycling of plastic packaging and aluminium cans. The Reclay Group has developed app solutions that are based on the idea of incentivisation and thus motivate people to recycle correctly.<\/strong> In Vienna, the \"RecycleMe<\/a>\"This initiative was founded by the largest Austrian beverage producers and the environmental expert and collection system operator Reclay Group.<\/p>

\"We want to bring every recyclable material back into the cycle. Our app-based incentive and incentivisation system puts consumers at the centre and thus has a major influence on a functioning circular economy<\/strong>. Any partner who wants to join the initiative is very welcome,\" says Stefan Siegl, Head of Digital Innovations at RecycleMe GmbH.<\/p>
