For the 13th time, the partners of PlasticsEurope Deutschland and Conversio Market & Strategy GmbH are launching a survey on the material flow profile of plastics in Germany. More than 2,000 companies from the plastics production, processing and recycling sectors were surveyed. The plastics study also utilises official statistics.\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t

\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t

How many tonnes of plastics are produced in Germany every year? Which applications do plastics from production go into? How are the recycling paths for plastic waste developing and what is happening with the use of recyclates? These and other questions will be answered at the Survey on the \u201eMaterial flow diagram for plastics in Germany 2021\u201c<\/strong>.<\/p>

In order to achieve a high level of coverage, questionnaires are sent out via various channels, telephone interviews are conducted and surveys and research are initiated. With the Material flow diagram for plastics<\/a>, which involves the entire industry value chain, the plastics industry has been publishing a detailed compendium of Facts and figures on the production, consumption, waste generation and recycling of plastics in Germany<\/strong> before. The facts and figures document progress in recovery and recycling and ensure transparency in the plastics debate.\u00a0<\/p>
