Fruit Logistica got off to an unconditional start in Berlin under the motto \"Meet onsite again\". Around 2,000 exhibitors from 87 countries will be exhibiting at the trade fair from 5 to 7 April. The entire value chain from producer to point of sale will be represented, helping to shape the platform of business, innovation and information.\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t

In November 2021, the trade fair was postponed from February to April due to the expected coronavirus situation with correspondingly strict conditions. Now the Fruit Logistica<\/a> in the next three days take place without conditions<\/strong>. Next year, the trade fair will return to its original date in February.<\/p>

\"Nevertheless, some exhibitors had to cancel with a heavy heart due to the late planning certainty in connection with the pandemic and a correspondingly shortened preparation time, but are participating as trade visitors. The topic of sustainability, particularly in relation to cultivation, packaging and transport, the impact of the climate crisis on producers and the digitalisation of agriculture are just some of the topics that will be discussed. The war in Ukraine is also having a far-reaching impact on the global fruit trade: the flow of goods is shifting and supply chains are under pressure. These and other topics relating to the international fruit trade are discussed in various Series of events on four stages<\/strong> and thus offer the opportunity to make up for the knowledge gap of the last two years and make better business decisions. All event series will be available on the digital industry platform Fruit Logistica Online as live streams and on demand from mid-April.<\/p>

For the Fruit Logistica Innovation Award, a jury made up of experts from all areas of the value chain has selected the best innovations in the sector.s most innovative products, services and technical solutions<\/strong>that were launched on the market last year.
