If consumers can easily sort packaging, this contributes to recycling and therefore a better circular economy. This was also Paccor's aim when expanding the DuoSmart range. The tray can be made from PP\/rPP or PET\/rPET with a cardboard sleeve. No adhesive is used and a tear-open mechanism has been developed that makes it easier for the end customer to separate the cardboard sleeve from the plastic tray. The DuoSmart trays<\/a> can be sealed on standard customer systems without investment. The new generation of trays is suitable for Packaging of meat, fish, ready meals, salads and vegetables<\/strong>.<\/p><\/div><\/div><\/div>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t

\u201eThis product is fully in line with our CARE strategy, as we have been able to reduce plastic consumption by up to 50 per cent. The simple separation of the components enables the end user to achieve 100 per cent recyclability. What's more, the cardboard can be made from recycled fibres.\u201c<\/p>

The ratio of cardboard to plastic is 51 per cent to 49 per cent. The cardboard can be printed on the inside and outside. The tray is available in transparent and coloured versions. Cut-out windows are possible on the cardboard. Stacking the trays makes it possible to Use on industrial filling machines<\/strong>. In addition, the special A\/B monomaterial structure and the edge rigidity contribute to improved sealing and release and the shape of the sealing edge allows the use of a lid.<\/p>
