Packaging Valley has gained 13 new members in the last ten months. These include automation experts, material and component manufacturers as well as plant manufacturers. The two networks Packaging Valley and Packaging Excellence Centre merged almost two years ago.

Since June 2021, 13 new companies have joined the packaging cluster and complement the competences with their know-how and their services, machines and systems as well as technologies<\/strong> in the Packaging Valley<\/a>.<\/p>

Automation expertise brings Cognex Germany<\/strong> with. The international player for image processing systems develops efficient solutions for smaller batch sizes in particular. The company is an expert in the field of automated format changes Lenord+Bauer<\/strong> from Oberhausen. This can significantly increase system productivity. Motion sensors and integrated drive technology are among the component manufacturer's areas of specialisation.<\/p>

Optimising the portfolio, reducing fixed costs - what many machine manufacturers are pursuing is what the development office FelgerEngineering<\/strong> from Weinstadt. The Lenze Vertrieb GmbH<\/strong> supports the development of automated machine concepts. As a technology partner, the Stuttgart-based company focusses primarily on the exchange of ideas within the network. This makes it possible to develop close to the requirements of mechanical engineering.<\/p>

Assembly and IT solutions is the core area of the Lead Digitalisierungs GmbH.<\/strong> With turnkey Industry 4.0 software, the Rems Valley-based company is increasing the competitiveness and efficiency of German special machine construction.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/section>\n\t\t\t\t

The Swabian family business Max Schlatterer GmbH <\/strong>from Herbrechtingen, Baden-W\u00fcrttemberg, produces endless drive, conveyor and processing belts under the Esband brand. The engineering office specialising in marking technology Lawrenow<\/strong> near Regensburg offers industrial printing and monitoring systems.<\/p>

Another new member is the mechanical engineering company Illig <\/strong><\/a>from Heilbronn,<\/strong> a leading global supplier of packaging and thermoforming systems as well as mould systems for cardboard, paper and plastic. Herma<\/strong><\/a>, The labelling machine specialist from Filderstadt works with state-of-the-art production and logistics processes. Efficiency and cost-effectiveness is a common denominator in the packaging cluster.<\/p>

offers packaging solutions for the consumer goods, healthcare and contact lens sectors. Koch Pac systems<\/strong>. Sustainable packaging is a guiding principle for the Pfalzgrafenweiler-based company, from the materials to the life cycle of the systems.<\/p>

The packaging machine manufacturer Rotzinger PharmaPack<\/strong> expands the strong pharmaceutical focus in Packaging Valley. The Waiblingen-based company, which offers primary and secondary as well as track and trace solutions for the pharmaceutical, cosmetics and food industries, is focussing on digital machine networking.<\/p>
