The fourth-generation family-run company celebrated its 100th anniversary and also achieved record sales. The company generated a total of 504 million euros and was able to increase turnover across all company groups.\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-cfe6288 exad-sticky-section-no exad-glass-effect-no elementor-widget elementor-widget-text-editor\" data-id=\"cfe6288\" data-element_type=\"widget\" data-e-type=\"widget\" data-widget_type=\"text-editor.default\">\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-widget-container\">\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<div class=\"page\" title=\"Page 1\"><div class=\"layoutArea\"><div class=\"column\"><p>2021 was a special year for <a href=\"https:\/\/packaging-journal.de\/?s=Balluff\">Balluff<\/a>The company exceeded the half-billion euro sales threshold for the first time. Across the entire group of companies, sales rose by 23 per cent from 410 million euros in the previous year to 504 million euros. Balluff is also pushing ahead with its diversification: the <strong>Sales with customers from the packaging, food and beverage industry increased by 27 per cent<\/strong>. It brings together experts from all areas of the company and allocates the producible production volumes to customer orders and delivery priorities in the best possible way,\" says Nonnenmann. In addition, the company has <strong>tapped additional sources of supply and developed product variants<\/strong>which are less dependent on the scarce electronic components.<\/p><\/div><\/div><\/div>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-a5783fa exad-sticky-section-no exad-glass-effect-no elementor-widget elementor-widget-heading\" data-id=\"a5783fa\" data-element_type=\"widget\" data-e-type=\"widget\" data-widget_type=\"heading.default\">\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-widget-container\">\n\t\t\t\t\t<h2 class=\"elementor-heading-title elementor-size-default\">Increasing demand for automation solutions <\/h2>\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-2756e73 exad-sticky-section-no exad-glass-effect-no elementor-widget elementor-widget-text-editor\" data-id=\"2756e73\" data-element_type=\"widget\" data-e-type=\"widget\" data-widget_type=\"text-editor.default\">\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-widget-container\">\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<div class=\"page\" title=\"Page 2\"><div class=\"layoutArea\"><div class=\"column\"><p>Despite all the challenges, the successful year 2021 creates a good starting position: the <strong>Incoming orders at the end of the past financial year were 44 per cent<\/strong> than in December 2020 and the global demand for sensor and automation solutions from Balluff remains high. The company plans to further expand production capacity at its large series production sites. In addition, the <strong>Global supplier base expanded<\/strong> and the logistics and transport network will be aligned even more closely with the regional needs of the markets.<\/p><p>Due to the global supply bottlenecks for electronic components, the war in Ukraine, its impact on the global economy and the unclear further course of the pandemic, the management remains cautious with specific forecasts. \"We are operating in a time of great uncertainty. The war in Ukraine - a country in the centre of Europe - is affecting us all.
