At Anuga FoodTec, ASA Automation will be exhibiting a complete donut production line, demonstrating the collaborative use of robots.<\/strong><\/p>\n

Three collaborative robots from the new CRX series and a Scara SR12IA from Fanuc will be demonstrating a modern automated donut production line. The process demonstrated includes product quality inspection, handling and packaging. The quality inspection includes recognising the degree of browning and checking the donut decor.<\/p>\n

ASA, which specialises in turnkey projects, takes on the role of general contractor for the development of the entire production line. The AI quality assurance is provided by Cretec. The customised gripper technology is manufactured by LMD using the 3D sintering process.<\/p>
