In Crailsheim, the go-ahead has been given for construction work on Schubert's new building. After a road first had to give way, an assembly hall and office building are now being built on the new construction site. The company is making the largest investment of 38 million euros in its history.\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t

In order for the construction to be planned, the L2218 between Crailsheim and Dinkelsb\u00fchl first had to be relocated in 2019. The idea of building the road near the Schubert<\/a>-The decision to relocate the railway line on the Crailsheim site to create a new construction area convinced both the town of Crailsheim and the Stuttgart Regional Council. \u201eWe are delighted that a large family-run company like Schubert is investing in this site and creating many new jobs in our town with the new building,\u201c says J\u00f6rg Steuler, Crailsheim's mayor for construction. Pallets of building materials, excavators and a large crane from the construction company are now on the construction site Leonhard Weiss<\/a>. Not far from the administration building, another final assembly hall is now being built with an adjoining office building with a Total area of over 12,000 square metres<\/strong>.\u00a0<\/p>

Sustainability also played a major role in the planning of the new building. \u201eBy the end of 2023, we want to reduce CO2<\/sub>-neutral, which is why we will be building the building with a sustainable energy concept<\/strong> \u201c, explains Ralf Schubert. After the geothermal energy already installed on the company premises was no longer authorised due to new regulations at the site, the company opted for the Heating and cooling with ice storage technology<\/strong>. A photovoltaic system with an output of around 400 kilowatt peak (kWp) will also be installed on the roof of the new building. \u201eThe aim is that the new hall is climate-neutral<\/strong>\u201c, continues the Managing Director.<\/p>
