When developing products, the safety of people should be considered from the outset. Pilz has now had its development process certified by T\u00dcV S\u00fcd and received the international security standard.\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t

Already from the design phase of products<\/strong> security properties are analysed, risks are identified and remedied in the product. The international IEC 62443 series of standards provides the normative framework for industrial security in automation. For \"secure\" product development, the subordinate standard IEC 62443-4-1 describes requirements for a so-called \"Security Development Lifecycle Process\" (SDL process). It is intended to ensure that Weak points recognised and eliminated throughout the entire life cycle of the system and individual components<\/strong> become.\u00a0<\/p>

T\u00dcV S\u00fcd has tested Pilz's development processes. The result: the company fulfils the requirements of the standard, looks ahead at potential risks and thus ensures the security of its products right from the development stage.<\/p>
