The new CMY+ Ultra Black ink cartridge from Primera Technology for the LX series colour label printers produces particularly rich black tones. According to the OEM and solution provider for speciality printing systems DTM Print<\/a> there is now a new one, alternative dye-based ink cartridge<\/strong> from the manufacturer Primera Technology, Inc. called CMY+ Ultra Black for the LX600e, LX610e Pro and LX910e colour label printers.<\/p>

All three printers in the LX series use a single CMY three-colour cartridge. The colour black is created by mixing cyan, magenta and yellow during printing. This So-called process black has many advantages over the separate carbon-based black inks<\/strong>, that other colour label printers use, including better water resistance, compatibility with a wider range of speciality label materials and higher smudge resistance.<\/p>

As an optional upgrade to the standard CMY ink cartridges, the CMY+ Ultra Black cartridge offers \u201eblackest black\u201c, among other things: some customers require a \u201etrue\u201c black due to the design of their labels. CMY+ Ultra Black delivers exactly that: a Intense, particularly dark and consistent black tone<\/strong>, which is unrivalled among desktop inkjet colour label printers in this class.<\/p>

As the dye-based cyan, magenta and yellow inks in the new cartridge print with a print resolution of 1200 dpi, the Black text also printed at 1200 dpi<\/strong>. Most comparable colour label printers only print black text at 600 dpi, as their black inks contain carbon or pigment components. The higher print resolution of CMY+ Ultra Black is clearly visible, especially with small texts.<\/p>

CMY+ Ultra Black is the most water-resistant ink Primera has ever offered when used with tested and approved label materials. DTM Print<\/a> bundles under the \u201eGenuine DTM Label Stock\u201c brand\u201c<\/strong> offers a wide variety of labelling materials and helps customers to find the best material for their particular application.<\/p>

\u201eCMY+ Ultra Black delivers the most intense and consistent black tones ever and is therefore particularly suitable for label designs with a high black content. An additional plus is the higher water resistance compared to other dye-based inks.\u201c<\/p>
