In the food industry, automation lines often consist of machines from different manufacturers, which can mean more work in the design phase. A strategic merger between Multivac and Handtmann is now set to remedy this situation. The companies offer line solutions from a single source for the production of packaging for sausage products, minced meat and moulded or dosed products.<\/strong><\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t

Both companies can now offer joint line solutions for the production and packaging of sausage products, minced meat, moulded products such as burgers, as well as portioned products for a wide range of industries. The filling and portioning technology of Handtmann<\/a> for tray sealing or thermoforming machines from Multivac<\/a> as well as line expertise, such as the Multivac Line Control (MLC),<\/em> supplemented. Customers save up to 40 per cent of time in the design phase alone thanks to working with just one contact person<\/strong>.\u00a0<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t

\u201eCoordinated interfaces guarantee significantly shorter installation times and a high level of reliability for the line solutions. In addition, the process control and monitoring of the entire line through digital solutions multiplies the rationalisation effect.\u201c<\/p>

The partnership also provides that Multivac is the exclusive distributor and service provider for Handtmann machines in the following countries<\/strong>Albania, Australia, Greece, Iceland, Israel, Kazakhstan, the Middle East, Mongolia, North and South Africa, New Zealand, Uzbekistan and India. In addition to sales, the company's experts also take care of the installation and warranty of Handtmann components - including all after-sales service work and the supply of spare parts.<\/p>
