The non-profit initiative Print Against War campaigns on behalf of printers and print processors in Ukraine. The situation of those affected by the war is documented and an exchange and contact with other European companies is established.\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t

The printers and print processors that have not suffered any damage or destruction can continue to work, but they have the Lost the majority of their orders and sales<\/strong>. Since 24 February, the lives of all these people have been turned upside down. Many of them receive the minimum wage or not even that. Print Against War<\/a> takes care of them, involves them, listens to them and understands their needs.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t

\"We were able to speak to a number of medium-sized and large commercial printers. They are able to handle large print volumes with their B1 and B2 format multi-colour offset presses and their binderies. We also met with several digital printers who specialise in short runs, just-in-time jobs, indoor and outdoor campaigns and use digital sheet-fed presses, large format printers and cutting plotters. In addition to corporate groups, several small and medium-sized packaging companies can also produce printed and finished boxes and labels. Some have invested in state-of-the-art digital finishing machines and digital narrow web label presses.\"<\/p>

For most companies, maintaining operations and ensuring a minimum wage for employees and their families is a top priority. As they cannot rely on domestic orders and exports to Russia, they are looking for new suppliers. Ukrainian printers and print processors partner with European companies<\/strong>to whom they can supply print products at a reasonable cost. Logistics may be a problem, but many are willing to produce and deliver.<\/p>
