Under the motto \u201ePackaging as a pioneer - in the transformation to a circular economy\u201c, experts from business, NGOs and politics discussed concrete paths and strategies for a sustainable future and the current challenges of the present at the 17th German Packaging Congress.<\/strong><\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/section>\n\t\t\t\t

More than 300 participants benefited from in-depth insights at the \u201eIndustry Summit\u201c organised by the German Packaging Institute (dvi) on 17 and 18 May 2022. Insights into current regulatory activities of the EU and the German government<\/strong> as well as concrete strategies and best practice examples for implementing a circular packaging economy.<\/p>

The 17th German Packaging Congress took place under the motto \u201ePackaging as a pioneer - in the transformation to a circular economy\u201c<\/strong> once again took place as an online event. It was supported by Mitsubishi Electric, Stora Enso and Fachpack.<\/p>

\u201eWe had a jam-packed programme with a really first-class line-up of experts. I think our participants were able to take away a lot. This applies not only to the ongoing challenges in the area of sustainability and the resulting \u201etsunami\u201c of regulatory activities. We also shed light on the topic of VUCA, i.e. volatility, uncertainty, complexity and ambiguity in the face of coronavirus and the war in Ukraine. In the end, it was a very well-founded, comprehensive and at the same time practice-orientated tour de force through the key topics of the industry. I think many of our participants will take up the offer to look at the presentations and the corresponding slides again afterwards.\u201c<\/p>
