On 1 and 2 June, the cosmetics industry will meet there at CosmeticBusiness in the MOC Veranstaltungscenter. The more than 300 exhibitors include numerous packaging companies. The motto of this year's trade fair: \u201eTurn Trends into Business\u201c.<\/strong><\/p><p>\u201eThe motto aptly describes the strength of the <a href=\"https:\/\/packaging-journal.de\/tag\/cosmeticbusiness\/\">CosmeticBusiness<\/a>\u201e, says Markus Geisenberger, Managing Director of Leipziger Messe. \u201e<strong>The trade fair covers the entire international value chain<\/strong>. The more than 300 exhibitors come from 26 countries, primarily from France, Italy, the Netherlands, Poland, Austria, Spain and Switzerland. The proportion of suppliers from abroad is around one third. The Fraunhofer Institute for Process Engineering and Packaging, for example, will be focussing on \u201e<strong>Recycling technologies for cosmetics packaging from post-consumer waste<\/strong>\u201c. In her presentation, Tanja Fell, Group Leader for Process Development and Packaging Recycling, will shed light on the use of recycled polymers in cosmetics packaging.<\/p><p>Stephan Telschow from the Gesellschaft f\u00fcr innovative Marktforschung (GiM) will again be speaking on the subject of \u201e<strong>The main thing is no plastic! Sustainable packaging from the consumer's perspective<\/strong>\u201c. In his presentation, he analyses which criteria consumers use to define sustainability.
