Chep<\/a> developed in collaboration with BXB Digital, a subsidiary of the parent company Brambles, digital solutions that are based on IoT<\/strong> (Internet of Things) to increase the operational efficiency of its customers' supply chains. To this end, a series of Chep reusable pallets are being equipped with Track & Trace technology in a pilot project. The aim is to, increase visibility of the movements of the load carriers and the products transported on them<\/strong>, by localising them precisely. The pilot project is being launched simultaneously in several countries in Central and Eastern Europe.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/section>\n\t\t\t\t

Full visibility along the supply chain<\/h2>\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/section>\n\t\t\t\t

The built-in sensors report Information such as the location and condition of the Chep load carriers<\/strong>, as they move through the supply chain. The aim of this technology is to provide customers with greater transparency and valuable insights into pallet movements. It can be used to proactively prevent inefficiencies in the supply chain such as future loss of goods, damage and costs.<\/p>

Aggregated supply chain statistics make it easier, for example, to manage goods in a targeted and timely manner. It is also possible to respond quickly to disruptions and other sudden events in the supply chain with countermeasures. The Increased transparency ensures complete documentation and Traceability<\/a> of the goods.<\/strong> As a positive side-effect, pallets are prevented from being lost and thus eliminated from the pool they form.<\/p>
