Following the division of the Berlin-based Alba Group, a new environmental services provider specialising in the sorting and processing of plastic waste has been formed under the leadership of Axel Schweitzer: Interzero. The parts of the company that were transferred to Interzero are said to have recently achieved an annual turnover of around one billion euros.<\/strong><\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/section>\n\t\t\t\t

Interzero is the name of a new international group of companies from Germany which, according to the information provided, specialises in Sustainable and customised recycling and cycle management<\/strong> stands. <\/p>

\u201eOur imminent departure from the Alba Group marks the beginning of a new era for us as an independent company committed to a \u201aworld without waste\u2018. Our new name explains exactly what we do: We offer our \u201ezero waste solutions\u201c internationally to transition from a linear to a circular economy - and call it Interzero for short.\u201c<\/p>

As the market leader in Europe, the Plastics Recycling Division stands for comprehensive expertise in plastics recycling. Interzero Plastics Recycling (IPR)<\/strong>. As an innovation leader, the division covers all recycling processes and technologies, from intelligent collection systems and high-tech sorting systems to recyclate production and chemical recycling. This includes five high-tech sorting plants and the development and operation of three in-house recycling and production plants<\/strong> for the extraction and marketing of high-quality recycled raw materials.<\/p>

The connecting element between the two areas mentioned is the dual system Interseroh+<\/a>. Another overarching element of Interzero is innovation and research services. The Competence centre for plastics recycling in Maribor, Slovenia<\/strong> is the only state-accredited research institution in the EU that specialises in the development and analysis of recycled plastics. The competence centre thus Europe-wide benchmarks for the implementation of uniform quality standards<\/strong> and helps Interzero's customers to develop environmentally friendly packaging and products made from recycled materials. Experts from Interzero not only analyse the materials and design of the packaging, but also, for example, the practical sortability. Positive results are recognised by the \u201eMade for Recycling Interseroh+<\/a>\u201c that companies are authorised to print on their packaging as a decision-making aid for consumers. Interseroh+ developed this test method together with the bifa environmental institute, and the Fraunhofer Institute for Process Engineering and Packaging IVV has tested and confirmed it.<\/p>
