The tests on the polypropylene bags were carried out under realistic conditions and confirm that the sortability into the appropriate waste stream.\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-e95bb43 exad-sticky-section-no exad-glass-effect-no elementor-widget elementor-widget-text-editor\" data-id=\"e95bb43\" data-element_type=\"widget\" data-e-type=\"widget\" data-widget_type=\"text-editor.default\">\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-widget-container\">\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<p>In a series of tests <a href=\"https:\/\/packaging-journal.de\/?s=mondi\">Mondi<\/a> prove that its mono-material polypropylene (PP) bags and roll material can be sorted into the appropriate waste streams. These tests, carried out in collaboration with the National Test Centre Circular Plastics (NTCP) in the Netherlands, which <strong>Simulate realistic conditions for packaging waste disposal<\/strong>were developed to optimise the <strong>Determine the sortability of recyclable mono-PP packaging<\/strong>. Using state-of-the-art technical equipment, the tests were carried out on prefabricated retort and standard bags, injection-moulded bags, top films and thermoformed semi-rigid tray materials.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-ff844ef exad-sticky-section-no exad-glass-effect-no elementor-widget elementor-widget-text-editor\" data-id=\"ff844ef\" data-element_type=\"widget\" data-e-type=\"widget\" data-widget_type=\"text-editor.default\">\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-widget-container\">\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<p>The tests prove that the top film and the thermoformed semi-rigid trays are successfully sorted into the correct subgroup.
