In 2010, natural cork still dominated with 44 per cent, followed by bottles with BVS long-cap closures made of aluminium with 32 per cent.<strong> In 2021, already 65 per cent BVS with external thread and only 22 per cent natural cork<\/strong>. Synthetic stoppers and short MCA closures follow at a considerable distance. Almost 80 per cent of white and ros\u00e9 wines are sealed with BVS, and over 75 per cent of wines in the price segment up to ten euros per bottle. The subsequent capping, labelling and palletising is also carried out fully automatically on the three lines with outputs of up to 7,000, 8,000 and 10,000 bottles per hour.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-8280ac4 exad-sticky-section-no exad-glass-effect-no elementor-widget elementor-widget-text-editor\" data-id=\"8280ac4\" data-element_type=\"widget\" data-e-type=\"widget\" data-widget_type=\"text-editor.default\">\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-widget-container\">\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<p>Drathen Winery has been relying on the sophisticated technology of Dr. Datz beverage and speciality machines for years for all screw caps, which now make up the majority of the bottles filled. For a long time, there was only one capping machine in the bottle cellar. <strong>Switched from MCA to BVS closures and back again several times a day<\/strong> had to be installed. Dr Hermann Datz laid the foundation stone with a <strong>Swing stopper machine for beer bottles in the early 1950s<\/strong>. The VD-4 capping head is a proven solution for all standard aluminium roll-on closures. Each <strong>Capping head has two threaded and two flanged rollers<\/strong> made of highly wear-resistant materials, with all essential parts made of stainless steel. This and the robust design ensure low wear and a reliable locking process.
