With PuriCycle, BASF is now introducing catalysts and adsorbents that remove the impurities and enable the oils to be further processed and thus recycled.<\/strong><\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-e5a43a4 exad-sticky-section-no exad-glass-effect-no elementor-widget elementor-widget-text-editor\" data-id=\"e5a43a4\" data-element_type=\"widget\" data-e-type=\"widget\" data-widget_type=\"text-editor.default\">\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-widget-container\">\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<p><a href=\"https:\/\/packaging-journal.de\/?s=BASF\">BASF<\/a> is launching PuriCycle, a new range of products for <strong>Purification of complex pyrolysis oils from plastic waste<\/strong> one. The PuriCycle portfolio includes innovative catalysts and adsorbents specifically designed for the selective removal or conversion of a wide range of impurities in pyrolysis oils, thus optimising the downstream process. <strong>Enable further processing of plastics according to the closed-loop principle<\/strong>. After treatment, these can be <strong>fed back into the beginning of the value chain for the production of plastics<\/strong> be purified. The purification of pyrolysis oils produced from plastic waste is technically one of the most complex processes. <strong>Challenges in chemical plastics recycling<\/strong>.
