MSK relies on resource-saving packaging systems such as the new generation of shrink frames with a newly developed electroshrink system or the use of fully recyclable or recyclate-containing films.<\/strong><\/p>

The reduction of material mixes during packaging also plays a key role in reducing costs and favours a more efficient packaging process. sustainable circular economy.<\/strong><\/p>

Closed film bonnets made from shrink or stretch film offer a high level of protection against theft and reliably protect pallet loads against dirt and moisture. Compared to stretch wrap, they are also more economical in terms of film consumption. Due to the high load stability, additional packaging materials such as plastic strapping can often be dispensed with. This enables single-origin packaging and simplifies the disposal and recycling process<\/strong>. The MSK film hood systems pack with the thinnest film and calculable consumption (Fig.).<\/p>

The newly developed generation of shrink frames for minimising energy consumption during shrink wrapping reduces gas consumption by 13%. A further 40 per cent saving is possible with the MSK Covershrink energy-saving kit. The MSK Corritech electro-shrink frame works entirely without gas, supporting companies on their way to climate neutrality by completely dispensing with fossil fuels.<\/strong> MSK also uses resource-saving technology in its stretch bonnet systems. They achieve a very low energy consumption of less than 0.07 kWh per pallet and can process the thinnest films up to 20 \u03bcm.<\/p>

For the rapidly growing area of automatic pallet defoiling MSK<\/a> developed a destrapper: Destraptech removes vertical strapping bands from pallet loads fully automatically<\/strong>. Thanks to a special MSK process for separating the straps on the top of the pallet load, it is possible to process up to 45 pallets per hour, even with multiple strapping and different strapping patterns in mixed production.<\/p>
