The Scottish plant of the Guala Closures Group has received ISCC Plus certification from Bureau Veritas. This is the company's third plant to be honoured. The award confirms the sustainability properties of the closures.\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t

The recognition confirms that Guala Closures<\/a> \u201eCircular Packaging\u201c and \u201eBio-Circular Packaging\u201c closures, which, thanks to the Control of the entire supply chain, from raw materials to end products, certified as sustainable<\/strong> are. The ISCC Plus <\/a>Certification enables companies to monitor and prove the quality of their products by verifying sustainability and traceability requirements along the entire production chain<\/strong>. This represents a real commitment to supporting a circular economy and helps companies to act more responsibly towards the environment.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t

The Group has been actively committed to sustainable development for over ten years. In 2020, the company launched a series of sustainable closures - Blossom Sustainable Closures<\/strong> - designed according to the Group's ecodesign guidelines to minimise their environmental impact. In September 2021, the company joined the United Nations Global Compact to share, support and apply the ten principles of sustainability set out in the Compact.<\/p>
