These leave behind adhesive residue and thin adhesive threads, also known as angel hair, which accumulate on the machine and need to be removed regularly. <strong>This maintenance effort is not required with the lock-style process<\/strong>. The elimination of the gluing units also offers a decisive advantage in terms of sustainability, as they consume the most electricity of all the cartoner components. <strong>By using glue-free moulding, manufacturers not only reduce their material consumption, but also their energy consumption.<\/strong><\/p><blockquote><p>\"Lock-style technology is currently very popular with companies that want to make their production more sustainable.
