The Beumer Group has completely redesigned and rethought its robust paletpac palletiser series: the modular design of the systems now includes identical or similar components and modules, and - wherever possible - the system provider has implemented the same design wherever possible. <\/strong><\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/section>\n\t\t\t\t

The redesign reduces the total number of components and speeds up delivery times. This also applies to subsequent spare parts. The Beumer Group compiles the modules individually and customised<\/strong>, tests them internally and assembles them on site. This saves time and costs.<\/p>

\u201eOur Beumer paletpac series takes into account the product characteristics of the individual packaged goods as well as the desired packing patterns and pallet dimensions of our customers.\u201c<\/p>

The new series not only simplifies the design of the system, but also its assembly. The modules are designed so that they can be mounted on one of two sides. This facilitates installation in confined spaces<\/strong>. Instead of two large modules previously, the customer now receives three more compact modules. \u201eWe can now only use standard containers,\u201c says Wieczorek. In the current corona-related container crisis, this is a significant cost advantage.<\/p>

The system provider has revised all modules in the paletpac in terms of function and benefits. By making suitable adjustments to the process belts, for example, it was possible to optimise motors and gearboxes on the one hand and to make the belt transitions leaner on the other. The result is significantly gentler transport processes.<\/strong> Process steps can now also be carried out more efficiently thanks to the adapted size of the assemblies. .<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/section>\n\t\t\t\t

As part of the modernisation, the developers also took the footprint of the paletpac into account. It relies on the MOVI-C modular automation box from SEW for its drive technology. Thanks to the centralised approach, both the installation space in the control cabinet and the number of components used in the field can be reduced. Between 20 and 30 per cent less energy <\/strong>can be saved by using a common DC link in the frequency inverters and by optimising the sequence of motion sequences. The use of energy storage systems is also possible as an option<\/strong>\u201ePeak loads can be efficiently eliminated. The user also saves on operating costs and achieves lower CO2<\/sub>-footprint,\u201c reports Wieczorek.<\/p>

With the paletpac series, the Beumer Group<\/a> furthermore a wide range of models in different performance areas<\/strong>In the low segment, the machine stacks up to 1,800 bags per hour, in the medium segment up to 3,200 bags per hour and the high-performance palletiser up to 6,000 bags per hour.<\/p>
