Netstal is presenting innovative injection moulding solutions at this year's K trade fair. The company is presenting production systems designed to increase productivity and enable shorter cycle times, high precision and reliability. Resources are also to be utilised efficiently.\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t

Your The enhanced ELIOS celebrates its trade fair premiere<\/strong> By switching to an all-electric mould closing system, the drying cycle has been accelerated by 0.1 seconds. Users benefit not only from increased productivity, but also from optimised energy efficiency: the average power consumption of the machine is reduced by 7kW in relation to the drying cycle.<\/p>

Another bonus point is the 450 mm shorter machine length. On the Netstal<\/a>-stand, the ELIOS 4500 will produce thin-walled 150ml IML yoghurt pots. from a certified, renewable PP from Sabic<\/a> produce<\/strong>. The material is based on tall oil, a waste product from paper production. It has the same processing properties as conventional polypropylene (PP) and can be recycled in the material cycle. One cup weighs just 6.5 grams.<\/p>

Like the fast handling system, the 12-cavity mould comes from IML Solutions. The cycle time will be around 5 seconds. The In-mould labels from Verstraete are digitally watermarked with the Holy Grail 2.0 initiative<\/strong> be equipped. Codes that are invisible to the human eye are printed on the entire surface of the labels. These contain machine-readable information about the contents, packaging material and origin. Different types of plastic are separated by type and sent for recycling.<\/p>
