DualStar is a new system that Workflow in the production and finishing of flexible packaging further optimised<\/strong>. Thanks to the ability to switch between \u201asurface\u2018 and \u201aprint\u2018 inspection depending on the job, it is the only solution in the world to date that combines the inspection of unprinted films, laminates and coatings as well as printed material in a single system. This saves the converter or laminator considerable investment costs, as they only have to choose one system.<\/p>

The \u201asurface inspection\u2018 component takes over the Automatic detection and classification of all relevant defects in the production of unprinted, transparent, opaque, coloured and translucent web material<\/strong>. The DualStar continuously checks the quality of the printed image, lamination and coating on printed goods. This system thus ensures Process optimisation along the entire value chain<\/strong>. Under the name \u201aCloud Xperience\u2018, the company offers an innovative software platform that enables the Advantages of a cloud combined with intelligent analysis tools<\/strong>. It takes over the centralised storage of data and also enables continuous condition monitoring of production processes and inspection systems. With the help of a self-learning cluster function based on artificial intelligence (AI) for defect classification, image data can be collected, stored, sorted and then automatically classified in the cloud.<\/p>

This automated processing allows fault patterns to be differentiated and classified more quickly and reliably. This simplifies the setup of the system and can reduce the time required to start up production. In addition, the data stored in the cloud is available to all authorised users, e.g. on other production lines or at other company locations.<\/p>
