At K 2022, BASF will be showcasing sustainable solutions for the automotive, construction and packaging industries. The company is placing a special focus on achieving a sustainable and circular economy through cooperation with others. Valeras from the plastics additives portfolio will be on show for the first time.\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t

\u201eOur motto for K 2022 is \u201aGo!Create - Welcome to Our Plastics Journey\u2018. We are inviting everyone to help shape our path towards a sustainable future with plastics. We will be showcasing products and solutions and even more: we will also provide insights into our concepts and plans. The path to a more sustainable economy requires a co-operative approach and there is a long way to go. We want to express that.\u201c<\/p>

BASF<\/a> has committed itself to reducing CO2<\/sub>-emissions by 25 per cent by 2030 and achieve net-zero CO2<\/sub>-emissions. Another focus is on digital and data-driven value creation models that support customers on their way to a CO2<\/sub>-neutral future. In this area, the company has developed an industry-leading digital application for calculating CO2<\/sub>-emissions from around 45,000 BASF sales products.<\/p>

\u201eAt K 2022, we will be demonstrating our possibilities and ideas through numerous co-creation projects with partners and customers from industries such as automotive, construction, electronics & electrical engineering, packaging and consumer. These projects range from products that have a net zero or low product carbon footprint to new products made from recycled raw materials to conserve fossil resources. As an integrated company with our own basic chemicals production, we are an important pioneer in helping our customers to decarbonise their value chains.\u201c<\/p>

For the first time VALERAS will be presented from its plastics additives portfolio. The VALERAS portfolio enhances the value of plastic applications by adding technical solutions and services in the field of additives Sustainability benefits<\/strong> offers. This includes solutions that accelerate the transition of plastics towards a circular economy and net zero emissions. The company will also showcase the latest addition to the VALERAS portfolio: Product Carbon Footprints (PCF), which will be available for various antioxidants and light stabilisers as a premium service.<\/p>
