With its devices for the direct marking of products and packaging, Bluhm offers a cost-effective alternative to labelling. Direct printing using drop-on-demand technology is suitable for no longer just for carton labelling,<\/strong> but is now used in numerous other industrial applications: With a maximum resolution of 600 dpi, the Markoprint integra PP RAZR prints text, graphics, images and codes just as sharply as the thermal transfer print modules in label print dispensers. With comparable investment costs<\/strong> However, inkjet printing convinces with significantly lower costs for consumables.<\/p>

Another clear plus for inkjet printing compared to labelling is the speed: at 2,500 mm per second, the integra PP RAZR prints, for example more than six times faster than label printing dispensers <\/strong>mark (400 mm\/sec). The typeface sizes can also be changed during the printing process. With dispensing systems, it is not possible to change the label size during operation.<\/p>

Even two different printing colours can be realised with one and the same printing system. The integra PP 108 bicolour can print with two ink colours simultaneously<\/strong>. This makes it particularly interesting for labelling hazardous goods, because Expensive hazardous goods labels can be saved here.<\/strong> Character heights of up to 108 mm enable the large character printing required in some industries. The print head of the integra PP RAZR achieves a maximum print height of 34 mm.<\/p>

Compared to drop-on-demand systems, label printing dispensers score highly in terms of their distance to the product surface and the variability of the stamping plate.<\/strong> Due to the extending dispensing stamp, a very large distance to the product is possible. The print heads of inkjet systems must be positioned very close to the product surface to be labelled.<\/p>
