Under the motto \u201eBoost your Performance. Reduce your Footprint\u201c is the motto Baum\u00fcller has chosen for its trade fair appearance and is announcing a real milestone in its developments: The new b maXX 6000 generation of servo controllers (Fig.) stands for more performance and maximum scalability.<\/strong><\/p>

Baum\u00fcller's newly developed safety functionalities, for example, ensure greater performance and further shorten machine cycle times. But the servo drive can do much more: The drive can be used as a sensor or sensor hub<\/strong> and offers scalable IoT connectivity, for example via an edge PC in the cloud.<\/p>

\u201eReduce your Footprint\u201c stands for intelligent functions from the Baum\u00fcller SmartValue modular software system. These help to improve the energy balance in production and reduce manufacturing costs. One highlight is the Integrated temperature model that monitors important components in the power section<\/strong>. This allows the servo drives to be optimally dimensioned and utilised.<\/p>
