The climate foundation myclimate has recognised the Saropack Group as a \u201eclimate-neutral company\u201c.
<\/strong><\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t

\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t

For a number of years now, the company has been recording, reducing and offsetting Saropack<\/a> their corporate carbon footprint. It serves as the basis for continuous CO\u2082 management. In 2020, the company was awarded the \u00abclimate-neutral sites\u00bb label. The climate protection foundation myclimate has now also awarded Saropack the CO\u2082 footprint of all products sold calculated<\/strong>.<\/p>

All emissions were calculated \u00abcradle-to-gate\u00bb (including disposal of the products but excluding use by the customer). As a result, the company now knows the impact of the entire company, including all products sold, and is able to calculate the CO\u2082 footprint per order, per product and quantity using an online calculator from myclimate.<\/strong> to calculate.<\/p>

With the SAROGREEN concept, the company has been supporting customers for years in optimising their film packaging and reducing its impact on the climate. Through detailed calculations, purchasing customers can now be increasingly involved in climate protection measures.<\/strong> become. Many customers actively support the climate protection commitment and buy climate-neutral products or participate in the corresponding CO\u2082 compensation for their purchased products.<\/p>

Saropack supports regional and exclusively certified myclimate climate protection projects. The projects to protect the raised bogs in the Alps and the carbon offset project to renaturalise the K\u00f6nigsmoor in Schleswig-Holstein are a particular priority. The gcompensation contributions for the Saropack organisation and sites, as well as the contributions from customers<\/strong> are now sufficient for the company to call itself a \u00abclimate-neutral company\u00bb for the first time as of November 2022.<\/p>
