Flexibility is the order of the day when supply chains are strained and markets are unstable. B&R has also taken this to heart and this year's trade fair appearance at the SPS has been designed with adaptability in mind.<\/strong><\/p>

B&R's new stand design invites visitors to experience the latest advances in mechatronic product transport, machine-centric robotics, machine vision and simulation. These technologies give machines the capabilities they need to overcome the current challenges in the manufacturing industry.<\/strong> These capabilities are summarised under the term adaptive manufacturing and enable manufacturers to switch effortlessly between different products and packaging on a machine or production line.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t

\"Today's machines must be adaptable,\" says B&R CEO J\u00f6rg Theis. \"They must be able to switch effortlessly between batches, achieve more output in a smaller space and produce highly customised products on demand - and they must be able to do it all. even those that have yet to be invented<\/strong>.\" The latest developments that make this possible include the new ACOPOStrak shuttles. They have a longer service life, smoother running and a positioning accuracy of up to \u00b1200 \u00b5m.<\/p>

Visitors to the B&R stand can experience high-precision pick-and-place applications that can be realised quickly and intuitively using Delta robots from Codian. The Codian robots can now be integrated even more easily into the B&R ecosystem with the help of simulation.<\/strong> \"Robotics and other key technologies such as machine vision and intelligent transport systems give machines outstanding adaptability,\" says B&R Adaptive Ambassador Nicoletta Ghironi. \"This means that any batch can be manufactured with the efficiency of mass production.\"<\/p>
