Storopack has launched a new protective packaging made from renewable raw materials and with a compostable filling. Renature Thermo was developed for shipping food, pharmaceuticals and other temperature-controlled packaging.<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/section>\n\t\t\t\t

Storopack's new protective packaging demonstrates that temperature-sensitive goods such as food and pharmaceuticals can be transported sustainably and at the perfect temperature. Renature Thermo is a moisture-resistant paper cushion with an insulating filling of plant-based starch.<\/strong> As a by-product from the food industry, the starch used for production does not compete with food.<\/span><\/p>

Renature Thermo can be reused several times. The insulating starch filling consists of Made entirely from renewable raw materials<\/strong> and can be easily composted. Recipients can dispose of them in their home compost or organic waste after use. <\/span><\/p>

Thanks to the good insulating properties of Renature Thermo the temperature in the shipping carton can be maintained in different temperature ranges<\/strong>different types of coolant can be used. Cooling chains are thus reliably maintained even at high outside temperatures.<\/span><\/p>

Renature Thermo is characterised by its practical U-shape - this means that it can be Cover all six sides of the shipping goods with two cushions<\/strong> and protect it perfectly in the box. Even sensitive goods such as medicines are protected from damage. The U-shape also contributes to a simple, fast and ergonomic packing process; the goods are packed in the box ready for dispatch in just a few simple steps. <\/span>Another advantage is the low weight, which contributes to lower shipping costs. <\/span><\/p>

Customers receive the new shipping packaging<\/span> on request as a complete, ready-to-ship set:<\/strong> This consists of a shipping carton, two <\/span>paper padding and gel packs to keep the goods cool. Alternatively, users can also purchase only the sustainable protective packaging and use their own cardboard boxes and gel packs for their temperature-controlled consignments.<\/span><\/p>

Storopack is continuously working to become even more sustainable and is pursuing this goal, at least 50 per cent by the year 2025<\/strong> of its own-produced protective packaging from recycled or renewable raw materials.<\/span><\/p>
