Thimm has invested around three million euros in a high-performance production line at its corrugated cardboard plant in the Czech Republic and has now put it into operation. With the new folder gluer and additional unit, production capacity can be doubled and employees can be relieved of additional physical labour.<\/strong><\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t

Only a short time after the previous folder gluer (FKM) was dismantled, the new Masterfold 230 A4 from the brand Bobst<\/a> at the V\u0161etaty production plant for the first time. For the past five days, the high-tech machine Fully automated folding and gluing of sustainable corrugated cardboard packaging<\/strong>. The new production line is currently the fastest system at the Czech site and will increase production capacity to up to 70 million packs per year.<\/p>

Thimm<\/a> On the one hand, FKM is planning for standard packaging in long runs with, for example, 4-point gluing and a working width of up to 2.3 metres, which can be processed at full running speed. In addition Complex shipping packaging for the e-commerce sector and shelf-ready packaging for the consumer goods industry can be realised<\/strong>.<\/p>

Behind the FKM the new Bobst Speedpack automatic packing system reduces the workload of Thimm employees<\/strong> The ergonomically designed packing system counts and stacks the cartons, straps them in the subsequent process and automatically transfers them to the palletising system using the new conveyor technology. All this reduces the workload by up to 60 per cent according to the manufacturer<\/strong> and excludes health risks that may result from repeated exposure.<\/p>
