The cyclos-HTP Institute has certified Henkel's EPIX solution for padded envelopes for recycling. The mono-material mailing bags are compatible with the sorting and recycling systems in the EU, Switzerland, Norway and the UK.<\/strong><\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t

As online retail continues to grow, so too does the urgency to develop more sustainable and recyclable packaging materials. The EPIX technology from Handle<\/a> has already made a contribution to establishing paper as a viable option for shipping goods. On the one hand, multi-substrate mailing bags are being replaced by recyclable mono-materials. On the other hand, the EPIX padded envelope for increased impact resistance<\/strong>, without increasing the weight of the packaging. The certification process of the cyclos-HTP Institute<\/a> determines the Recyclability of packaging depending on the proportion of recycled material recovered (paper fibres)<\/strong>, which is available for the production of the starting material (new paper). EPIX comprises a portfolio of technologies that provide paper with additional properties, such as barrier protection, thermal insulation and impact resistance, so that brands benefit from outstanding packaging performance.<\/p>
