The company is thus realising the findings of a study by the University of Graz, according to which such packaging can be recycled far more frequently than previously assumed under the right circumstances.<\/strong><\/p><p>Provided the recycling processes are right, logistics cartons and folding boxes can be <strong>not just four to seven times, as previously assumed, but up to 25 times.<\/strong>. This was the result of a study at the University of Graz in 2021. In order to optimise the recycling of cardboard and paper, Herma has therefore developed a new range of pressure-sensitive adhesives and corresponding adhesive composites. <strong>According to the company, these are characterised by the fact that logistics and other labels produced from them cause virtually no adhesive contamination in the recycling process.<\/strong><\/p><p>The company has now received certification from the Papiertechnische Stiftung (PTS) for five adhesive laminates, i.e. for labelling materials including pressure-sensitive adhesives. The fifth PTS-certified association is a very special one. <strong>universally applicable adhesive material<\/strong>, which consists of the new, single-layer adhesive 72C and the label material Herma
