For 2023, the packaging and recycling specialist is focussing, among other things, on<strong> Capacity expansions in injection moulding, investments in recycling, the expansion of the pharmaceutical division and research into alternative materials<\/strong>.<\/p><p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.alpla.com\/de\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">ALPLA<\/a> is continuing its international growth trajectory in 2022, expanding its production capacities, increasing its workforce and reporting a 27.5 per cent increase in turnover. The internationally active specialist for packaging solutions and recycling is thus achieving <strong>positive annual result despite massive energy price increases and a shortage of raw materials.<\/strong> Newly opened locations, acquisitions and expansions resulted in more than 1,000 additional employees. To achieve this <a href=\"https:\/\/packaging-journal.de\/?s=alpla\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">ALPLA<\/a> In addition to capacity expansions in the core business, strategic investments in injection moulding, increased involvement in the pharmaceutical sector and the expansion of the global circular economy. Parallel to this <strong>Research into alternative, bio-based and biodegradable materials<\/strong>. \u201eWe are striving for long-term sustainable growth, strengthening our global presence, promoting recyclable products, minimising the use of resources and energy consumption and expanding our portfolio,\u201c announces Lehner.<\/p><p>The focus is primarily on <strong>the growth markets of Africa, the Middle East, Asia and North America.<\/strong> ALPLA has been investing over 50 million euros annually in capacity expansion and technology development in recycling since 2021. More recyclable and cost-effective packaging requires closed loops and sufficient material. <strong>ALPLA is therefore planning to double its annual production of recycled material from its own plants
