Under the motto \u201eHow VUCA is changing the (packaging) world\u201c, the German Packaging Institute (dvi), as the organiser, invites you to attend lectures, discussion panels and workshops in the capital.<\/strong><\/p><p>The word VUCA stands for Volatility, Uncertainty, Complexity and Ambiguity. \u201eIt describes new states that involve unknown conditions. <strong>It also describes a world that looks very different than it did three years ago.<\/strong> Many habits and certainties have been turned upside down by recent events and crises. The impact on the packaging value chain is also enormous - and requires new questions, new thinking, new strategies and new resources,\u201c says Kim Cheng, Managing Director of the German Packaging Institute (Deutsches Verpackungsinstitut e. V.).<\/p><p>The congress will address the question of how the competitiveness of energy-intensive companies in Germany can be maintained. How brands can survive the crisis and emerge stronger from it. Which national and European regulations the industry must adapt to. And what is advisable in view of the creeping end of \u201echange through trade\u201c. <strong>The congress will also take the much-acclaimed television documentary \u201eThe Recycling Lie\u201c as an opportunity to shed light on the state of and prospects for the circular economy of packaging.<\/strong><\/p><div class=\"packa-in-post-alle\" style=\"text-align: center;\"
