Along the entire supply chain, container and packaging management is a major and often underestimated factor in terms of relevant cost savings. The combination of smart weighing technology and optical sensors makes it possible to check whether the container and shipping carton are optimally matched to the contents.<\/strong> This is helpful for warehouse management on the one hand and for continuous optimisation towards the optimum shipping carton on the other. The \"perfect\" packaging leads to essential savings in the design of the cardboard packaging and the amount of filling material. This reduces costs, improves sustainability and increases customer satisfaction at the same time.<\/p>

Another trend in the field of containers and shipping cartons is the precise recording of weight and volume. Thanks to the successful Cooperation between Bizerba and Metrilus,<\/strong> a German supplier of dimensioning systems, is now offering a whole series of dimensioning and weighing systems (DWS) based on the highly innovative computer vision technology \"MetriXFreight\" and smart weighing technology. A static DWS will be exhibited at the trade fair as a representative of this product family, which can be directly integrated into the Bizerba<\/a> shipping software Global Shipping is integrated. This means that all relevant data can be recorded, a shipping label created and printed on sustainable Bizerba linerless labels in just one process step<\/strong>.<\/p>

Also on display will be various terminals and industrial PCs from the iS series, which are equally suitable for checking, picking, packing, delivering and documenting tasks as well as for stocktaking. The powerful iS65 Industrial PC<\/strong> is one of the highlights at the Bizerba stand. It was developed for continuous operation in demanding industrial environments<\/strong> and is ideally suited as an information, control or data acquisition terminal. The installed Bizerba software solution Brain2 ensures that questions about order status, machine running times or throughput can be answered quickly and up to two scales can also be integrated via standardised USB connections without an external power supply.<\/p>

If time-critical applications require fast and accurate weight determination, the iS30 weighing terminal<\/strong> for use. The industrial computer displays the most important weighing and process data, such as the number of items, using stored reference weights, numbers and graphics<\/strong> and also supports incoming and outgoing goods inspections in the warehouse, compliance with statistical process controls and as a counting system. The terminal can also be used to control dynamic processes in the area of continuous scales.
