The packaging has been awarded the \u201eOK Home Compost\u201c certificate, which is awarded to products that can be composted at low temperatures.\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-2c43bc1 exad-sticky-section-no exad-glass-effect-no elementor-widget elementor-widget-text-editor\" data-id=\"2c43bc1\" data-element_type=\"widget\" data-e-type=\"widget\" data-widget_type=\"text-editor.default\">\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-widget-container\">\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<div class=\"page\" title=\"Page 1\"><div class=\"layoutArea\"><div class=\"column\"><p><a href=\"https:\/\/packaging-journal.de\/?s=greiner+packaging+\">Greiner Packaging<\/a> has been successfully producing packaging for the capsule market for many years. Capsules are repeatedly criticised because of the waste they produce. The company has developed a <strong>Coffee capsule developed from a compostable polymer<\/strong>. This can easily be recycled at home in your own compost.<\/p><blockquote><p>\u201eWith our packaging, we wanted to contribute to offering an environmentally friendly alternative to conventional capsule packaging. It was important for us to find a solution that meets our high quality standards for product protection. Our home compostable capsules were already degraded in 15 weeks. We are delighted to have successfully completed the certification phase, which now enables us to offer our customers and subsequently consumers completely sustainable capsule packaging. Around 50 per cent of all household waste consists of organic material. A percentage that will become even more important in the future due to the increasing popularity of biodegradable products such as packaging material or disposable cutlery.
