Thanks to its clear positioning as the leading global trade fair for networked production, HANNOVER MESSE has become much more attractive to visitors from all over the world in recent years. In Hanover, they come to find out about innovations and the latest concepts and solutions relating to Industry 4.0. HANNOVER MESSE exhibitors welcome the parallelism with CeMAT, as intralogistics is an important part of the smart factory and manufacturers are thus making an important contribution to the further optimisation of the industrial value chain“, says Dr Jochen Köckler, Member of the Executive Board of Deutsche Messe AG.

Create synergies

CeMAT and HANNOVER MESSE are each organised as stand-alone trade fairs, although they are held in parallel. Synergies where it makes sense. These are primarily available in the halls of the Industrial Automation. This is where the heart of Industry 4.0 beats - networked, autonomous and self-organising production. Customers increasingly want products that are customised to them and their needs. This in turn requires extremely flexible production, which can only be realised with Industry 4.0 concepts.

„Production is currently changing dynamically and with it the requirements for intelligent and networked intralogistics. By incorporating CeMAT into HANNOVER MESSE, we are offering visitors a unique platform, to keep abreast of all new technologies and solutions in the global context around Industry 4.0 and Logistics 4.0 to provide information. The independence of CeMAT, with its own focus on Logistics 4.0, is important for targeting logistics professionals from all sectors and from all over the world. Especially those who do not see their home in industry,“ explains Köckler.

HANNOVER MESSE 2016 attracted 190,000 visitors, one in three of whom came from abroad and almost one in two from the manufacturing industry. In addition, international decision-makers from the retail and service sectors in particular are expected to attend CeMAT in 2018. Online trade is expected to continue to grow strongly, and logistics companies are therefore increasingly focussing on automated solutions. They will find these at CeMAT.

Focus on Logistics 4.0 concepts

CeMAT is located in the north of the Hanover Exhibition Centre and is therefore accessible to visitors via the busy entrances in the north area. The CeMAT presentations will once again focus on the topic of Logistics IT. The exhibition area itself is in Hall 19/20, but IT plays an important role on almost all stands.

„The digitalisation of the entire supply chain across company boundaries is a prerequisite for the design of autonomous and self-controlling logistics chains. There are already many individual technical solutions, such as warehouse management systems, intelligent containers or driverless transport systems. How these Solutions in interaction CeMAT visitors to Hanover will be able to experience how the CeMAT systems work and what competitive advantages they offer,“ says Köckler.

Among others, the Logistics IT exhibition area will feature the company Team GmbH from Paderborn.

The Managing Director Michael Baranowski welcomes the integration of CeMAT into HANNVOER MESSE: „Digitalisation and Logistics 4.0 are moving the industry. Companies are facing up to the challenges of globalisation, developments in e-commerce and same-day delivery. This is leading to a complete Reassessment of existing IT solutions. Future-proof answers are only possible with the latest technologies. CeMAT 2018 in combination with HANNOVER MESSE provides the ideal framework for securing investment decisions.“

Solutions for the logistics of tomorrow

The three pavilions under the Expo roof will once again be home to the leading industrial truck manufacturers. The neighbouring Halls 25 and 26 will also feature industrial trucks and accessories, as well as cranes and accessories for the first time. The outdoor area is available for CeMAT. The trade fair occupies a total exhibition area of 110,000 square metres, making it the world's largest trade fair for intralogistics and supply chain management.

„CeMAT is a trade fair that showcases complete solutions for the Logistics of the future will be shown. In conjunction with HANNOVER MESSE, it will continue to grow in importance internationally and be a trend barometer for the entire industry,“ says Köckler. Manufacturers of conveyor technology and robotics as well as suppliers of production logistics solutions will be exhibiting in Hall 21, while the neighbouring Hall 24 will focus on the following topics Transport logistics, packaging technology and Labelling technologies.

„The Packaging theme We will continue to work on and expand this area independently, as it is an important topic for intralogistics,“ explains Köckler.

Industry 4.0 concepts mean new opportunities for the packaging industry. The packaging of a product can be highly customised, but can also be intelligent itself and provide information about the product.

Intralogistics solutions at the upcoming HANNOVER MESSE

Suppliers of intralogistics solutions will be demonstrating their expertise in Pavilion 32 at HANNOVER MESSE 2017. Around 20 CeMAT exhibitors will show what contribution they can make to industrial value chain and how efficient the industry is. In addition to the exhibitor presentations, the VDMA Fachverband Fördertechnik und Intralogistik (Association of German Machine and Plant Manufacturers) and Deutsche Messe AG are jointly organising a forum on current intralogistics topics relating to production.

„Industry 4.0 and intralogistics are directly linked. At the CeMAT pavilion at HANNOVER MESSE 2017, we will show visitors what intralogistics solutions for production processes and the supply chain are capable of today. There are virtually no limits to the technical possibilities. That is why we are also giving a brief preview of the technical developments of the future“, emphasises Sascha Schmel, Managing Director of the VDMA Materials Handling and Intralogistics Association.

Next year, CeMAT will move closer to HANNOVER MESSE and will be organised at the same time as the world's most important industrial trade fair at the Hannover Exhibition Centre.
[7
55,82,42,1022,52,33,39
0":"post-754","1":"post","2":"type-post","3":"status-publish","4":"format-standard","5":"has-post-thumbnail","7":"category-messen-und-veranstaltungen","8":"tag-automatisieren-und-robotik","9":"tag-cemat","10":"tag-etikettieren-kennzeichnen-codieren","11":"tag-industrie-4-0","12":"tag-logistik","13":"tag-veranstaltungen","14":"tag-verpackungstechnik","15":"cs-entry","16":"cs-video-wrap
["GET
