Two of them feed various packaging components to a new type of cosmetics filling machine. A separate cobot also processes bars, bags of crisps or highly reflective pouches, demonstrating the benefits of its unique AI. With the tog.519, the company is extending the automation of the packaging process beyond the packaging line. Because the mobile, free-standing or optionally housed robots are ideal for handling lightweight products using pick-and-place from the mess and process them at up to 90 cycles. The AI-supported programming and image processing is solved in such a way that customers can carry out a format change themselves in the shortest possible time without any programming effort: in principle, the new product only needs to be held out to the cobot. Flexible application locations, a wide variety of pick-and-place tasks, high process speed and very simple operation are the Cobot advantages from which manufacturers in a wide range of industries can now benefit.

(Image: Gerhard Schubert GmbH)

One more compact system saves resources and reduces CO2-footprint, both during manufacture and later in production. Schubert demonstrates just how compact a filling process can be with a newly designed line for cosmetics manufacturer Börlind. Liquid cosmetics are filled into either glass bottles with screw pumps or glass jars with screw caps, then capped, weighed, sealed and tested in a space of just under 2 x 4 metres. Fully automated, two Schubert cobots gently feed the individual packaging components to the machine via pick-and-place. Using a newly developed transport system that complies with the hygienic design standard and is also suitable for applications with liquids such as perfume, the packaging materials are then transported to two alternating filling stations in a space-saving manner. The image processing system ensures the corresponding quality controls, including glass breakage control at the edge of the glass jars. Fast set-up times for the various formats and 3D-printed format parts ensure even more flexibility. Particularly advantageous is the typical Schubert Modular machine concept to connect further process steps directly to the filling line. For example, labelling and final packaging can be integrated to map the entire packaging process seamlessly and fully automatically in one line.

(Image: Gerhard Schubert GmbH)

If the cutting magazine runs empty, machine operators have to react quickly to avoid unnecessary stops. With the new Schubert TLM Comfort Feeder, this is now a thing of the past, as can be seen on a bar packer at the trade fair. It is sufficient to simply place the entire pallet with the blanks still in the cutting sheet into the machine. A The F4 robot then pulls the blanks individually directly from the sheet and feeds them into the erecting process at a rate of 60 cycles per minute. However, this approach offers another advantage: the cut sheet can be optimised even better for the greatest possible utilisation of the packaging material. be used. This saves material and therefore resources and costs. The combination of innovative sheet feeding, high erecting performance and loading and sealing in a small space offers Schubert customers a particularly advantageous machine concept.

Depending on the consistency and ingredients, baked goods or confectionery require packaging with different barrier functions. Manufacturers who want to switch quickly between tubular bag films with different properties will find the right sealing technology in the Schubert flowpacker. It enables both recyclable mono plastic films as well as paper-based tubular bag films in one machine to be utilised. Schubert demonstrates this with a system that couples an ultrasonic unit for longitudinal sealing with flexible transverse sealing. The transverse sealing is performed either by a box-motion unit with ultrasound or by rotating sealing jaws using heat sealing.

Source: Gerhard Schubert GmbH

Schubert at the interpack: Hall 14, Stand D01

Gerhard Schubert GmbH will be showcasing its latest technical developments at interpack, including cobots.
Die Gerhard Schubert GmbH zeigt neueste technische Entwicklungen auf der interpack und haben unteranderem Cobots mit dabei.
[21
58679,30,38,31,40,59744,70
0":"post-75810","1":"post","2":"type-post","3":"status-publish","4":"format-standard","5":"has-post-thumbnail","7":"category-verpackungstechnik","8":"tag-gerhard-schubert","9":"tag-interpack","10":"tag-lebensmittel","11":"tag-nachhaltigkeit-und-green-packaging","12":"tag-pharma-kosmetik-chemie","13":"tag-rudolf-diesel-medaille","14":"tag-verpackungsmaschinen","15":"cs-entry","16":"cs-video-wrap
["GET
