Bremen-based start-up Cellumation is presenting its cv.Singulate singulation system at this year's LogiMat. This eliminates the need for the usual recirculation, which speeds up the process overall.<\/strong><\/p>

With the cv.Singulate, Cellumation offers a compact, high-performance singulating system that is optimally tailored to the needs of small and medium-sized logistics centres. The singulation of a mass flow is usually a manual and therefore time-consuming process. It is not uncommon for up to 20 employees to be involved in unloading swap bodies or lattice trolleys. Standard automated conveyor systems can simplify this process considerably, but are usually expensive, require a lot of space and are maintenance-intensive. With the cv.Singulate, the manual separation of parcel flows (bulks) can be automated economically in the smallest of spaces.<\/strong> The smallest of the five variants of the Start-of-Line solution occupies just 1.2 square metres. This makes the singulating system 80 per cent more space-saving than conventional systems in this performance class. The throughput of the system is 2,000 to 6,000 parcels per hour, depending on the variant.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t

The cv.Singulate turns an incoming mass flow into a continuous outgoing flow of individual objects travelling one behind the other at individually defined minimum distances. These are ideally aligned and orientated. The automated singulator uses modular Celluveyor technology consisting of robot cells in combination with an intelligent vision system.<\/strong> Each packet only has to pass through the cv.singulate once. There are no extra rounds of recirculation as with conventional singulating systems. In addition, unlike conventional solutions, the system offers up to two outlets instead of one, making it possible to singulate a bulk on up to two conveyor lines simultaneously. This allows distribution centres to either double their productivity in this area if required or to singulate twice as many parcels in the same area.<\/p>
