Since 2018, the CO<sub>2<\/sub>-footprint by 24 per cent.\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-fe19892 exad-sticky-section-no exad-glass-effect-no elementor-widget elementor-widget-text-editor\" data-id=\"fe19892\" data-element_type=\"widget\" data-e-type=\"widget\" data-widget_type=\"text-editor.default\">\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-widget-container\">\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<p>The study was conducted by the Swedish RISE research institutes and shows that the <strong>Efforts and investments by industry to reduce CO<sub>2<\/sub>-footprint and to improve the environmental performance of the industry<\/strong>. This emphasises how the industry is playing a leading role in the recycling of packaging through collaboration.\u00a0<\/p><p>The most important findings of the study are, among others, that the industry is reducing CO<sub>2<\/sub>-footprint by 24 per cent since 2018. The average <strong>carbon footprint of cartons is now 249 kgCO<sub>2<\/sub>e from cradle to grave per tonne of carton<\/strong>. The CO<sub>2<\/sub>-footprint from cradle to grave is now only 148 kgCO<sub>2<\/sub>e per tonne of cartons.<\/p><div class=\"packa-in-post-alle packa-entity-placement\" style=\"text-align: center;\"
