Italian film expert AMB is presenting its portfolio of rigid and flexible films at this year's interpack. This includes films made from recycled food trays as well as mono-material PET solutions.<\/strong><\/p>

With the AMB TrayRevive concept, film is recovered from used food trays and used to produce new thermoformed packaging and form-fill-seal packaging. The post-consumer tray material is broken down into flakes, which in turn are used to manufacture a tray-to-tray product. In order to maximise the quality of the final shells, the raw material is subjected to a strict analysis process.<\/strong> It is checked for impurities and the quality of the flakes is assessed. The material recycled in the AMB TrayRevive process is food-safe.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t

Solutions made from monomaterial<\/h2>\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t

Compared to conventional multi-layer films, AMB's mono PET solutions are much thinner and therefore require less plastic during production. The film is lightweight, which in turn leads to energy savings and takes up less space during transport.<\/strong> AMB TotalMono PET offers a high level of barrier protection for sensitive foodstuffs, and the top and bottom webs can be printed in full without having to change the graphics. Despite the downgauging, the material is robust and tear-resistant in processing. It is crease-free and offers maximum transparency.<\/p>
