With the innovative PT Eco-Fibre papers from Pfleiderer Fibre pulp from grass, wheat straw or silphia mixed with wood pulp<\/strong> used. The valuable use of crop waste and fibre materials, which are produced as residual materials in cascade use, makes ecological sense and opens up enormous potential for the future. Fibre resources for the European paper industry on short transport routes<\/strong>. In addition, significantly less energy, water and chemicals are required to pulp the fibres compared to wood pulp production.<\/p>

Pfleiderer is a pioneer in the use of alternative fibres and acts as a competent and flexible development partner in this field. PT Eco-Fibre papers are available in basis weights between 40 and 115 gr\/sqm and can be equipped with bio-based barriers against grease and water<\/strong>.
