The company from Geisa in the Rhön region emphasises in particular that the plastic cases are suitable for printing using the in-mould labelling (IML) process.

The Case series „Heavy“ for the safe transport and functional handling of large and heavy products. The housing is in a double-walled Sandwich construction designed with sturdy hinges and latches. Fitting lugs on both sides ensure non-slip stacking. The interior of the cases can be customised with various inserts.

W.AG offers the cases in three basic sizes of 390, 500 and 575 millimetres, each with three Format variants on. The production technology requirements have now been created to enable the products to be printed using IML. As the IML process offset-printed PP films are inserted directly into the material in the injection moulding system, this requires system conversions. The result is a print that is scratch-resistant, stable and non-detachable.

At the beginning of this year, W.AG has also announced that it will also be offering smaller case sizes to offer IML printing with a width of 300 millimetres.

The new heavy-duty cases from W.AG can be printed using in-mould labelling.
